Design Services, with University Models, maintains a database of women from 18-88 available for Advertising, Commercial, Fashion, Glamour, & Promotional assignments.

There are No Contracts - you can leave at any time!  There are No Fee's - income is from fee's paid by clients!

Design Services conducts Free portfolio test sessions at least once a quarter - these photo sets provide an opportunity to work with one of our photographer and to receive a free set of portfolio prints - and this is the resource we utilize with clinets when discussing assignments.

...the Reality of Modeling

Modeling is Selling/Sales - You are motivating people to make a decision - in person or on the printed page - that's advertising, and that's what  modeling is about - Sales.

Modeling contains many venue's - some most difficult to enter, e.g. 'high fashion; and others are open to all - promotion.

The reality of modeling is you seldom can obtain fashion assignments from the 'web'.  Advertising assignments are developed from 'foot power'; meeting with art directors and talent co-ordinators, showing you porfolio, and going to casting calls.

The web is a valuable resource for glamour assignments and portfolio development.

We have 'open call' portfolio test sets in the SoCal area several times a year.

This art is available for client review for commercial projects,   To help talent  co-ordinating modeling activities with other SoCal photographers; and for magazine features with domestic and international publishers.

P/T Income - $100-175/wk or More Available

Design Services will present you with modeling "op's", and tell you both what is involvded in the assignment and what the budget is for the project. - you decide if you want to work.

Typically assignments pay some you some $35/hr. (3 hr. min) - $105 for a couple of hours in your day.

It is also possible to do several photo sets in a week, or a number of differant set during a month. - you won't get rich, but it can add some additional cash for Nordstroms.
