Girls-Model - Reality

Reality is anyone can make money modeling -

Most of the work in advertisiing & promotion comes from advertising agencies, who typically work with established 'modeling agents'.

If you want to work you focus should be the local ad agencies in or near your home, the smaller the better. 

Your local library can provide a resource of Advertising Agencies in SoCal, the LA Market, etc., make a note of the agencies in the area - the 'art director', year started, total billings, etc., - that your contact point for commercial modeling assignments.

NEXT, make an appointment with your contact, 'to discuss modeling in our community'.

Do Not take your Zed, Don't ask for a job - discuss Their business and how they feel the local community is going, etc., Then Leave.

When you get home write (not type) a thank you note - and include a copy of your Zed - ask their opinion of your 'comp', and include a stamped, self addressed envelope - and a business card if you have them.

Promotions 

You can do marketing for promotions the same way - follow the newspaper - 'Grand Opening', etc., look for the contact person - then make a phone call.

"Hello, I XLIOL your local model, can I assist you in your upcoming ..."

Photographers

Photographers always want to take photos of attractive women, especially in 'sexy layouts' - and they want to pay in photos.

If you get the photos that's great - but always take a friend, and your cell phone, on a photo shoot.

Final Word

Don't expect to get commercial work from the web!

Commercial Work is a matter of networking, with ad agencies, editors, and art directors - it's "foot power" if you knock on enough doors you'll receive that assignment - and your first gig leads to the second, etc.

Photographers on the web will offer to provide you with photos in exchange for modeling 'tfp' - there are 'paying photo gigs' on the web, but alway take a friend.

We won't make any promises.  We are Not a big ad group, and Don't Want to be, but we do work with 'fresh faces'.
